My HP Pavilion - 590 -p0069 has an AMD processor and motherboard with an m.2 slot. In order to recognize the Intel SSD 6 mounted in that slot I took the following steps:

F10 into the AMD bios setup / select Security/ select Drives/ and select "disable" m.2 option. Sounds counter-intuitive but it works.

Use Intel SSD Toolbox to confirm it's presence. Use Intel Data Migration to clone the operating system (Windows 10 in my case) to the SSD and change the boot order. Works just great.
