Hello all,

I was trying to update the firmware for my Intel 530 SSD tonight, and I installed the update tool onto a USB drive as per instruction from the website. When I booted via USB, the program loaded, but it seems that the mouse and keyboard isn't operating when I do that (either that, or I'm freezing upon entering the program). I cannot press accept or decline, so I can't update my firmware. Is there any way to fix this issue?i

Please make sure the Intel® SSD 530 is connected to the primary SATA controller, SATA port 0. It is also advisable to check the BIOS settings.

You may also try a different USB port, for example using 2.0 instead of 3.0.

Thanks! Moving my mouse to a USB 2.0 port solved the issue.
