The nature of the issue seems to be that you have a legacy system with SATA 150MB/s ports and is not properly identifying the Intel® SSD. We do not recommend the use of Intel® SSDs with legacy systems due to the possible compatibility issues which may cause unwanted performance and behavior.

I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Lajban, it seems the Intel® SSD is not being detected properly; please verify the connection and make sure is correctly identified with the model number. If you are using a desktop system try a direct SATA connection, otherwise you want to use an USB/SATA converter that does not mask the drive as USB/ATAPI drive for example.

Please make sure the SSD is connected to the SATA port 0, it is probably connected to a different SATA controller. Do you know what mode is the SATA controller using (AHCI, RAID or IDE)?

Lajban, you may need to check your motherboard documentation regarding the SATA controllers and port configuration. Try removing any other drives that are not involved in the process and connect the Intel® SSD in port 0 as suggested earlier.

If further assistance is needed please provide the motherboard's make and model.

Are you using an AMD* driver for the SATA controller? One possible workaround could be using the Microsoft* driver instead, it usually gets installed by uninstalling AMD*'s and let Windows* Update install its own driver.

I am sorry again; please note that we provide the Intel® Data Migration Software as a freeware utility. As such it does have basic functionality and may not work with legacy systems as explained above.
