Both the SSDSA2CW080G310 and SSDSA2CW080G3K5 are sold in europe with a 5 year warranty. I bought a SSDSA2CW080G310 in July 2011.

thanks L10090 for that info. i just got off the phone with intel rep and this SSDSA2CW080G310 only carries 3 year warranty not like b5 and k5 which have 5 year extended warranty.

In that case I really hope that Intel will react in this forum on this 3 or 5 year warranty issue.

The price differense between the 310 and k5 is about eur10 (=$14).

And for that amount we get a installation bracket 2.5 -> 3.5" and a connection cable.
