topic SSD Caching at 3GB/s in Archive

I have a ASUS P8Z68-V Pro motherboard with an I7-2600K processor. I have two 6 GB/s SATA HDD's (WD Caviar Black). I am thinking about implementing the Smart Response Technology by including an Intel 311 SSD, (I like the fact that it uses SLC) but I notice it is only 3 GB/s SATA and am wondering how much of a performance downside this will cause if any. Thanks for your thoughts!
