I have got my OS on a SSD 120 GB Sata 3. I made an image of my OS by W7 image utilty on another SSD Intel Sata2 80GB. Process run fine and fast.

But now I can't get my image back on my primary SSD; process starts in W7 image utility but it seems endless.

(I used an image I set on another classic HDD).

My question is if can you use W7 utility to make image of your OS on other SSD or you have to get a hardware usb device to clone your SSD, or what ? Thanks

I have used Intel Data Migration Software to clone the SSD120GB on a SSD80GB. Then in Bios I have set the SSD80GB as first boot device and my rig booted correctly on this SSD80GB.

My SSD: SA2M080G2GN ------- SC2MH120A2

Hope I have gained my 4 points
