Hi!

I have a 80Gb X25-drive with the operating system now, and is wondering if an update to a 320 or 510-drive would give

any boost to my system? Have a Asus Maximus MoBo, but not with any SATA2 connectors.

Hi,

check out this conclusion: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/intel-ssd-320-crucial-m4-realssd-c400,2908-12.html http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/intel-ssd-320-crucial-m4-realssd-c400,2908-12.html

-> Most SSD drives tend to fall within a tight performance spectrum. I think it will be more or less not recognizable to feel the difference between X25 and 320 or 510.

/Shiek

You mean you don't have any SATA 6Gb/s ports.... your mobo definitely has SATA 3Gb/s ports.

What workload are we looking at here?
