    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; I dont have a second pc to do the firmware update for my SSD.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I tryed multisetting&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-AHCI-Legacy : On scanning SSD it stuck there for eternity&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-AHCI-Native : It pass the scanning but when it start the firmware update it fail saying:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;    --Check if no password on SSD: indeed, no pwd&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;    --Check to enable SMART: yes&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;    --Look under go/support.. which I did and I didnt find any usefull help for my situation.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So I update bios, same result for the update...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any idee what could cause the scanning to freeze? on AHCI legacy mode ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My Laptop: Alienware M17x version1&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Best regard,  &lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;What SATA controller/chipset is being utilized? Also, which drive are you attempting to update?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
