Are the X25E drives such as:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820167014&cm_re=intel_x25e-_-20-167-014-_-Product http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820167014&cm_re=intel_x25e-_-20-167-014-_-Product

able to use the Intel tool box? Are they supported by trim?

The above link shows a 'G1' drive. Is there a later version or a firmware update?

Thankjs

Mitch

The G1 drive does not support trim and never will according to Intel. I'm not sure if the toolbox will work with it either. I don't think it will.

Yes the Intel SSD Toolbox will work with G1 drives. The Optimizer (trim) however only works on G2 drives
