With the MS AHCI driver I have hot plug capability in all controllers and the devices are all listed in the Safely remove hardware list (all drives) but with the Intel 9.6 driver I can't use the hot plug feature in the P55 because the drive is not on the safe to remove list. I have a hot dock in the top of my case and want to use it while connected to the P55 controller but because I can't safely remove it (it's not on the list) I don't feel comfortable removing the drive. For now I'm sticking with the MSdriver. Is this something I can configure with this 9.6 driver??

Thanks

Jim
