So...this is my first foray into the world of SSD's and I want to make the right choices. Went ahead and got an 80gb g2 drive and I am going to be installing Win 7 64 bit.

i was going to make sure bios is set to ahci, then update drive to latest firmware posted on intel site, then finally install windows. Once in windows i don't know what to do. should i install the intel toolbox? is that just for trim? or should i install the RST drivers? seems shady that i have to download those at station-drivers and they are not available from Intel.

help! 😃

thanks

thanks!

so the only place to download the RST drivers is station-drivers?

and the latest intel chipset drivers directly from intel are fine?
