Hello, I would like to let you know that the Intel optimizer from the Solid State Drive toolbox and the System Configuration Tuner are tools that Intel recommends to use to have an optimal performance of the Solid State Drive, the secure erase tool is recommended for different issues or when you are going to reinstall the operating system and you want to format the Solid State Drive or make sure that you do not have any information left or corrupted in your Solid State Drive.

In other works the secure erase do not substitute the toolbox options since they are for different purposes.

Hi, I have a question. Is possible to substitute Intel SSD Optimizer functionality by safe erase tools? Because many of these tools provides function which fill free space by "0".

Thanks
