topic Win7 X25-E alignment in Archive

I was wondering if it would make any difference (increase performance of the SSD), before installing the OS, to follow these steps in order to do the alignment myself:

diskpart
list disk select disk X (being the SSD) clean create partition primary align 64 active exit

Win7 are supposed to do the alignment automatically on a new installation, but does the OS choose the optimum value for the X25-E or the installation gives a default value for all the SSDs?
