Non recognized SSD under XP

I just received 2 SSDSA2MH160G2C1.

One of them is supposed to replace the Lenovo T61P HD running under XP SP2.

I installed one as the 2nd HD of this laptop,. It's recongnized in BIOS as HDD1, I can even run BIOS diag on it.

Once XP is started, it's recognized by Device Manager as "Disk drive", though, XP doesn't provide a volume for it and it doesn't appear in the disk drive list in XP explorer.

I tried with the second drive and got the same behavious

Is there a driver I should install ?

Did I miss something obvious ?

If you do start -> run -> diskmgmt.msc

Is the disk in there? Is it initialized?

Yes it was, but I had to make it allocated

It's now working fine
