What exactly is the problem you encounter with 'End to End Error Detection Count'?

At Windows installation it gives me error message that the hard drive is bad. Otherwise, I can use the drive just fine.

Download the Intel Toolbox and look at the smart value of "End to End EDC" (B8) and post all the B8 values here. Then I can have a look what's going on there.

My SSD is also reporting this smart error. This occured after upgrade to firmware 2CV102HA.

Well guys, it looks like your drives are ready for RMA. At least, if my drive would produce this kind of error, I would know what to do!

Don't worry about it though, Intel has an excellent RMA policy (at least here in the Netherlands). I sent my first drive for RMA and I received a replacement within a week and this drive rocks.....
