The download link to Intels SSD Toolbox has been pulled by Intel at 4th November.

We expect an updated version within the next days.

There's always the chance of getting more than you bargain for when downloading from non-official sites. The previous version of Intel Toolbox was pulled for a reason. Intel is currently working to release the updated Toolbox. I'll wait for that one.

i'm gonna use SSD Toolbox with G2 (with updated firmware), it was said somewhere that Windows 7 only has problems with it, can I use the old version under Windows XP for SSD optimizer?

If you're using xp, you don't meet the 1st criteria (i.e. must be running 7 or vista). So according to Intel, you're fine.
