SSD not working

Hi!

I have a x-25m g2 80 gb 🙂 and i have installed

connected to a vt6421 pci controller with sata ports.

It can be viewed in disk management under win7 ultimate rtm.

But i cannot partition or format it because the system

launch the message formatting not possible or somehing like that.

Why?

I've tried all:

secure erasing.

formatting over a live kubuntu distro

connecting to various sata ports on controller

connected to a nas with capability of support sata

the ssd in not seen under the latest ssd toolbox

What can I do?

Did you install the drivers for the vt6421 pci controller?

Yes because win7 have the latest drivers .The ssd is recognized as intel ss scsi diskdevice thanks

Maybe I'd have an idea if you can reproduce the exact error.

The errore message is formattazione non riuscita.trad:not possible to format.In other session when try to do rapid format the message is impossible to complete format process .????thanks

I ll try to use parted magic cause probably in security freeze lock.

Then try to Connecticut to an ide_sata adapter for set it as boot drive.

I want test it sito os w7

Hi!

I've booted with parted magic and do a secure erase.

the ssd is not in frozen state.

But with win7 i cannot format it.

I'll try to connect to a ide port with an adapter and format in this conditions.
